My son started with Tennis-4-Kids a year ago when he had just turned 4. He loves the classes. I love how enthusiastic he is to show off what he has learnt after his classes.
Gordon manages to keep his attention and teach him all without seeming to try. The class sizes are just right so each child gets multiple goes but no one feels pressured. In class Gordon uses a mixture of games (to keep them running) and skill sessions (to teach them the basics of tennis).
I highly recommend these classes. I kind of wish he did them for grown ups!

We really cannot thank you enough. Both boys have a real love of the game and they would not be able to get so much enjoyment from playing if it had not been for your help. You really do have a fantastic way of getting the best out of young children – and they want to do their best for you. A real gift. Echoing Ed’s words, your patience with William and ability to encourage him to ‘hang on in there’ when he looked like giving up was fantastic.
We really hope we can keep in touch and will of course be sending all new budding champs your way. Thank you Gordon. We (never mind the boys!) are going to miss seeing you on Saturdays.

It is no over statement to say that she is very fond of you as her teacher and will really miss the weekly sessions. Out of all the activities she did , the tennis class was the only one she was sorry to have ot leave. The way you teach is infused with fun that it did not feel like learning at all to her ,rather like a fun activity. She came to you as an uncoordinated girl with hardly any grip in her wrist and has emerged a well-coordinated young girl. Peyibomi and I are truly grateful for the experience of learning to play tennis with you .

Hi Gordon – Thanks for all your hard work with Felicity – I don’t think she is a natural tennis player but she really enjoyed the sessions which is the main thing.

Of course, I would like the girls to move up when there is a chance, but I’m happy for them to keep coming to the 9.45 class. They really enjoy it and I can see that they are making progress. , it looks like Maya is not going to let us pull her out of your tennis lessons (clearly she is loving them). So even though we are moving, Roger and I have decided we will give it a go for this term by driving from Brockley and we’ll see how it goes.
If you still have room for her on a Thursday evening, then please can we keep the place and can you let me know how much I owe you till the end of term.

Sorry this has happened again and a real shame but we wanted to let you know that it’s because he has a school open morning and William has been chosen as one of 12 boys in his year to play short tennis as a display for the parents and others. Only boy in his class to be picked so he’s really chuffed. All thanks to your patience and good coaching. Thank you!!

Our daughter has been having lessons with Gordon for almost 2 years now. She thoroughly enjoys every single lesson and looks forward to it every week. The lessons have helped her to develop her confidence as well as her tennis skills. Gordon is excellent with young children, the right combination of discipline and fun.
